1.  Who can take part in this campaign?

Repsol employees around the world whose contract is valid until the end of the year. External personnel and interns are not included.

2.  Can employees’ family members present projects?

No, they can only be presented by employees of the company.

3.  Is there a deadline for presenting projects?

This year there is a single application period, until 29 September, at 14:00 (GMT +1). Proposals received after this date will not be considered.

4.  Do I have to send attached supporting documentation for the project?

What is most important is that the description of the project must be complete in order to properly evaluate it.

5.  What kind of projects can participate?

The projects presented must belong to a legally constituted charity organization or NGO which is registered in the corresponding official bodies; therefore, projects managed by individuals or unofficial organizations will not be accepted.

With this initiative, we want to contribute to making the world a better place, so projects located in any part of the world may be proposed, no matter what country they are in.

6.  Must the proposed project have a set duration?

Although the projects may be already under way, the part presented in MTW 2018 must begin in October 2018; in other words, projects cannot seek funding for costs they have already incurred, or which took place before the end of the project application period.
The projects presented must include a timeline with the planned action dates, and must end by October 2019.

7.  When and how do I find out if I’ve been chosen?

We’ll contact you via email to communicate whether your project has been selected, and the selected projects will be posted on the website.

8.  What does my project being chosen mean for me?

You are the guarantor of the project, which will be monitored throughout its implementation, with you as the link between the beneficiaries and Repsol Foundation. This will involve some direct contact, which may include interviews, photos, videos, etc.

9.  When and how will I receive the money?

The money will be deposited in the charity organization’s checking account once all the necessary documentation to make the donation has been received. The current account must not, under any circumstances, be in the name of an individual.

10.  What contacts will I have for anything that may come up if my project is chosen?

When you are informed that your project has been selected the contact person will be indicated.

11.  How can I send in my project if I don’t have an Internet connection?

By calling the SAE and providing your phone number and a good time to contact you, and later they will contact you to inform you how to proceed.

12.  My project won’t upload to the website. What should I do?

The files you are trying to attach may be over the specified maximum size. Revise the files and try again, bearing in mind that you don’t need to go into great detail.

13.  Who decides which projects get chosen?

A committee made up of personnel from Repsol and its Foundation, with the support of Fundación Lealtad, will review and evaluate all the projects received and select the ones to support.

14.  What criteria does the committee use?

The Repsol Foundation will review each of the proposals and select those that best represent the values promoted by the Foundation, such as solidarity and the integration and protection of vulnerable communities anywhere in the world. The bases set out in detail the criteria used and the qualities that are valued most highly.

15.  How long will this campaign last?

This year there is a single application period, until 29 September, at 14:00 (GMT +1).

16.  What area does the campaign cover?

The campaign is global. Any Repsol employee, anywhere in the world, can participate.

17.  What does the support consist of?

The support will be €10,000 for each project, independently of the total cost of the project. That is, although the support provided by MTW Employees is €10,000, the project presented may have a budget higher than that amount.
The grant will be given to a single organisation.

18.  How must the projects be presented?

To present your project, you must fill in the whole form in the section “Tell us how to make the world a better place”. Remember to fill in all fields, providing your contact information and information about the project and the entity (association, foundation or NGO) behind it. Keep in mind that if your project is selected, you’ll have to provide documentation to prove the project is real and viable in order to receive the support.

19.  Can I present more than one project?

Yes. Each employee can present up to 5 projects.

20.  Can we present projects as a group?

Yes, proposals can be presented by more than one employee, but they must be under the name of just one employee, with the others mentioned under comments if desired.

21.  What should you do if your project is selected?

If your project is selected by the Repsol Foundation to receive the €10,000 support, you will receive an email informing you. The email will indicate the documents that the managing entity of the project and you will have to fill out in order to certify the viability and soundness of the project and the entity managing it. The documentation to be provided is specified in the bases, and includes:

· A certificate of registration in the corresponding registry of non-profit entities, or an equivalent document accrediting the legal status and non-profit nature of the winning entity and its registration according to the applicable regulations in its country:

· Annual accounts, including at least the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for the last fiscal year.

· Sworn statement, filled out, with signature.

· Data of the account in which to receive the amount of the prize.

· Copy of the power of attorney document of the people acting on behalf of the entity.

· Good quality images to illustrate the project and a document ceding the image rights. (Permits ceding image rights for each person appearing in the photos must be included. In the case of minors and/or people who are not legally competent, the permits must be signed by their legal guardians).

If the necessary documentation is not received before the deadline established in the Terms and Conditions and shown in the email, Repsol Foundation will consider the award null and void and will grant this support to another project.
